  • D1 Arrive in Shangrila

    Airport/Train station pickup and transfer to hotel, rest day to acclimatize to the altitude.

    D2 Shangrila - Deqin (189KM)- Feilai Temple - Mingyong Glacier

    Early start off to Meli, along the way we will visit Guanyila Grassland, Nixi Garden and have lunch at Benzilan. After lunch we will visit Jinshajiang River Gorge and the famous Horseshoe Turning. Later we arrive at Mingyong Glacier and stayover in the lo

    D3 Mingyong - Xidang - Upper Yubeng - Lower Yubeng

    Short drive to Xidang where the trekking really begins. Normally it takes 5-6 hours to reach Upper Yubeng, which is the closest representation of the Lost Horizon described by James Hilton. (3750m Altitude)

    D4 Lower Yubeng - Mystic Waterfall - Upper Yubeng

    Across forests and highland pasture, it takes about 2 hours to reach the mystic waterfall by walking.

    D5 Upper Yubeng - Xidang - Shangrila

    In the morning we will be trekking back to Xidang Village and transfer back to Shangrila by car. On the way we will be cross Baima Passage (4294m), where is a good spot to see panoramically Baima mountain.
