HOW TO BOOK A TOUR?

BOOKING PROCESS

1 Submit your enquiry with us.

2 Discuss and decide on your itinerary.

3 Confirm the booking by the deposit payment.

4 Once you have fully agreed the itinerary, please send us 30% of the full amount as deposit to confirm your booking.

5 Pay the full amount before the date of travel. Your journey is to be started and once the rest 70% is cleared, we wish you a wonderful trip.



WHAT IF I CHANGED MY MIND?

We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip to Yunnan and China, however we realize that there are many valid reasons that this can happen. In the event of a cancellation after having paid already, we will refund the payments made to Pristine China Travel within 15 days upon receipt of your written cancellation via email less the cancellation fee that is applicable as follows:

Cancellation received more than 30 days prior to tour start: Free Cancellation.

Cancellation received from 15 to 30 days prior to tour start: 10% of the total tour price.

Cancellation received from 8 to 14 days prior to tour start: 30% of the total tour price.

Cancellation received from 4 to 7 days prior to tour start: 50% of the total tour price.

Cancellation received from 0 to 3 days prior to tour start: 100% of the total tour price.

No-show travelers will be charged 100% of the total tour price.

Besides the cancellation fee from Pristine China Travel, penalties from airlines or train companies may apply if air or train tickets were issued. Especially during weekends, holidays and outside of our office hours customers are obligated to additionally inform Pristine China Travel by phone so that the cancellation can be made effective right away.

If the party wishes to substitute a traveler by another one, this will be treated as a cancellation and the previous fees are subject to apply.

Once the trip has started, Pristine China Travel is no longer able to provide any refunds to the party for any reason.

All refunds are issued via Paypal or Alipay only. Please provide us your PayPal email and we will set up the process to transfer refunds to your account.

Alterations to your itinerary before the booking are happily processed free of charge. Alterations after payment of the deposit will attract a fee of 200 RMB per request. All expenses incurred by Pristine China Travel in alteration of the booking are the responsibility of the customer. This includes all fees and charges levied by third parties such as - but not limited to - airlines and hotels.

Pristine China reserves the right to cancel any trip departure before it is guaranteed to run. A trip is guaranteed to run once it has one fully paid traveller, unless minimum numbers state otherwise.

Pristine China reserves the right to cancel any trip, including a guaranteed trip, prior to departure due to reasons outside its control (i.e. natural disasters or political instability). In such a case, Pristine China will refund the trip price.

Under extraordinary circumstances caused by civil unrest, terrorism, natural disaster or other force majeure, either party may cancel the trip. If such cases occur 45 days or more before trip departure, Pristine China will refund clients fully less the deposit. If such cases occur within 45 days of departure, Pristine China will refund clients fully less the deposit and any expenses incurred to date that are directly related to preparation of such trip. Such expenses may include preview trips conducted specifically for the above-mentioned trip.

PAYING FOR YOUR HOLIDAY

Deposit & Local Payment

We take 30% of the full amount as deposit to confirm your booking. The balance due (Local Payment) is to be paid at least 1 week before the first tour day. If the tour is booked within 2 weeks before departure, the full payment is required immediately.

For individual booking of flight, train/bus and evening event tickets (Separate Services), full payment is required at the time of booking.

WHAT ELSE MUST I PAY FOR BESIDES THE TOUR COST?

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES:

These are activities, which are available for you to do along the way on the tour, but are not compulsory. This is why we have not included them in the tour cost. The Optional Activities must be booked & paid for along the way and suggested form of payment is RMB cash or Alipay.

DAILY SPENDING:

We also recommend a guideline of about US$ 20 - 30 (2017 guideline only) per person for spending money daily to cover things like Bottled water, Refreshments, Food and drinks. Of course this amount varies depending on how much of a shopper and drinker you are!!
